It may be hard to believe that the 1974 British Eurovision Song Contest representative has hit the big 60, but it's true. The English-born songstress has had a long and illustrious career and now commits most of her time to fundraising for cancer research.

Today the Danish representative, Simon Mathew, celebrates his 25th birthday. It happens to be the day of the 2nd Danish rehearsal and on the following press conference he was greeted with three birthday songs, an English, a Danish and a Serbian one.
Roger Cicero's MySpace site was yesterday able to celebrate its 1 year birthday. The site has been a big success with more than 10,000 so called friends and more importantly, his music has been played more than 204,000 times.
The last couple of weeks before the holidays, Swedish broadcaster SVT announced the names for Melodifestivalen 2009. For us Swedes, there are quite a few well known names. Stars like Alcazar, Marie Serneholt, Shirley Clamp and Måns Zelmerlöw are going to participate this year.
