As previously announced on EuroVisionary, Turkish national broadcaster, TRT, had returned to the old system which brought success to Turkey. It's announced that their representative's name will be revealed in January 2011.
It has been 5 years since Turkey's Eurovision Song Contest entry was chosen in a national final. One of the Turkish fan zones has started to a campaign with a petition to have a national final for the road to Düsseldorf.

The European Broadcasting Union's Turkish member, TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation), has opened their annual poll that is entitled: 'Who Should Represent Turkey Next Year in Germany?'. It's planned Turkey's participant for Eurovision Song Contest 2011 will be chosen through the result of the poll.
Turkish broadcaster, TRT, has been choosing a representative for Turkey with a public poll since 2007. Emre Aydın, the Turkish pop/rock singer who came second in this year's poll, ended speculation about his possible participation in the Eurovision Song Contest.
MaNga, the Turkish representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2010 inOslo, had released their latest album called Şehr-i Hüzün on 29th December. Nowadays, their album is living its highest points on several charts.
During the presentation of the Turkish song, MaNga and TRT’s general manager, İbrahim Şahin, gave a press conference to introduce the new procedure of the contest and more about the song, We Could Be the Same.
