The ongoing World Cup in South Africa has made its way to the charts in Denmark in such a way that the entries from the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest is fighting to stay on the list. German winner Lena is still hanging on, but has dropped from first to eight!

The girl band Sukkerchok who has participated in the past two national finals in Denmark has released an unofficial football song in support for the Danish national team at the World Cup in South Africa. The song is called Sukkerbold and is mixed with some football commentator sound.

Catalonian Jaume Marquet Cots who goes under the artist name Jimmy Jump has received a fine of 15.000 Norwegian kroner for interrupting the Eurovision Song Contest final last Saturday. A Norwegian businessman paid the fine as he has been a fan of Jimmy's stunts for years.

This year's Eurovision Song Contest was moved as it would otherwise collide with Champions League. Now it appears like a football event might once again interfere with the Contest as the German Cup final is set to take place on the 21st of May - the day of the final in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.  

After the two Danish fan clubs merged into one the members have been voting on the best name for the magazine that will launch later this summer. The new name was presented on a meeting in Århus Saturday and its “Douze Points” for the Danes.

28 years after finishing near the bottom of the scoreboard at the Eurovision Song Contest the Norwegian entry Sámiid Ædnan by Sverre Kjelsberg & Mattis Hætta has now been adopted by football supporters in England.
