Mr. Grand Prix Keld Heick has released a solo album with cover versions of rather unknown Rock’n’roll songs from the 1950’s and ‘60’s. For his fans this is very different from the schlager style they are use to, but for Keld it is going back to his roots where he started 50 years ago.

The new album from Tomas Ledin, who represented Sweden at the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest, reached the stores today. It is release number 28 from the well experienced singer who started his career in the early ‘70’s. A summer tour will start in the beginning of July and includes concerts in three Nordic countries.

The newly released Christmas album from Sanna Nielsen, Shirley Clamp and Sonja Aldén has in just 10 days sold platinum and gone directly into the album charts on a second place. The album features 12 international Christmas songs sung in English.

Melodifestival veteran Magnus Carlsson, former member of success bands like Alcazar and Barbados, have collected 40 of his biggest hits on a double CD to be released in a few weeks. The album includes all of his seven Melodifestival entries from 2000 to 2007.

After representing Finland on home ground at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, Hanna Pakarinen is working on her fourth album which is due to be released in the beginning of next year. The first single from this album can already be heard on the internet.

Danish national runner up from 2004, Zididada, have released their 5th album called “Take It All”. They have a good loyal fan base and have achieved international success despite never really being accepted by the Danish critics.
