New selection format for Serbia

Serbian broadcaster RTS has created a new format for selecting their 2010 Eurovision Song Contest entry. One composer will contribute songs to a contest where various artists, chosen by the composer and RTS, will compete for the right to represent Serbia in Oslo, in May.

Serbia has confirmed its participation for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo.

Marko Kon releases Eurovision Song Contest entry in several languages

Marko Kon and Milan Nikolic will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow with the song "Shoe". The team has been promoting their song around Europe. Versions in Russian, Finnish, French and Greek are already available for download while a Hebrew one is on the way.

Mila Jovovich to be Eurovision Song Contest 2009 host?

It has been speculated in the Serbian media that the Ukrainian actress Mila Jovovich who is also popular in Russia will be one of the hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Moscow this year. It's not confirmed yet but last year's hosts also may take part at the contest as special guests this year.

Mor ve Ötesi, the Turkish participiant at the last Eurovision Song Contest in Serbia, has released their new album "Başıbozuk". Their contest entry Deli is the first song on the album.

RUSSIA WINS EUROVISION 2008

It has finally come to pass, 14 years after their first entry Russia has reigned victorious over the Eurovision Song Contest.  Dima tried back in 2006 and finished second to Lordi but he wasn't dissuaded and came back this year and finished second to no one.

This year's Eurovision Song Contest will be a different kind of show for the San Marinese people.  They will participate for the very first time in Belgrade and it will definitely be a new adventure for them.

While a graphic of the finalised stage design for the 2008 contest had been online for a few weeks now no such video was available. A short 25 second graphic clip of the stage shows how it may look come May.
