Official plagiarism complaint filed against Sha-la-lie

This year’s Dutch entry is under serious accusations of being plagiarism. A songwriter has officially filed a complaint at the organization that protects the rights of a songwriter. He tried through several months to get Pierre Kartner to change some things in his song, but with no reply to follow.

Danish entry accused of plagiarism

It happens every year that Eurovision Song Contest entries are accused of plaigiarism. This year the first real accusation hits Denmark. Brinck’s Believe Again is being compared to songs of both Miley Cyrus and Ryan Cabrere. Judge for yourself if there is anything about it.

Plagiarism accusations towards "Disappear"

German media are accusing songwriter Remee of having “stolen” his song from a German talent show. Remee turns it the other way around by stating that his song was written first.

EuroVisionary have received several emails and comments about the Romanian winning song, Pe-o margine de lume, being a copy of David Bustamante’s La Magia del Corazon, a song that came third in the 2002 Spanish national final. What do you think?
