Eurovision Song Contest

For the third time this year Ukraine has now presented their entry for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Every day that has passed since the HoD meeting Monday the country has been recieveing a daily fine. If everthing goes well this time Alyosha will be singing Sweet People in Oslo.

A previous draw allocated the 34 semi-finalists into two semi-finals and placed in which one of them the five finalists will be voting. Today a new draw took place in Oslo. It was time to find out in which order the semi-finalists will be competing on the 25th and 27th of May and which starting position the five finalists will have for the final.

Each participating delegation has to hand in their song for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest at the Head Of Delegation meeting in Oslo tomorrow. Despite 2 national finals and thus 2 songs presented as the Ukrainian entry the country is hours away from the dealine without an entry.

Belarusian group, Three Plus Two, have announced the news that they have changed the song they will sing in Oslo.

Ukranian broadcaster for the Eurovision song contest NTU announced there will be a new national final, starting tomorrow, 18th March. It was claimed that the previous internal selection was unfair.
