The Turkish participiant of 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Hadise, has offically signed with TRT today. Before the offical ceremony Hadise and TRT's boss İbrahim Şahin already announced their plans for the Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Moscow in 2009.

Danish rock singer Sanne Salomonsen who participated in the Swedish final in 2005 is on the way with a new album. It should have been released in November, but has now been postponed to January or February 2009.

It is now officially announced that it is going to be the popular Dutch trio De Toppers that will represent the Netherlands at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. This brings Gerard Joling back to the Contest after 21 years.

Danish 3rd placeholder from 1989, Birthe Kjær turned 60 today. Although she started performing at the age of 11 she got her first record deal and her first number 1 hit in 1968 and is as such also celebrating her 40 years jubilee this year.
