That sounds good to me is an up-tempo song written and composed by music legend Pete Waterman. Waterman is known from his songs for Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley and Steps. The song is about the singer who thinks of how nice it would be to be together with the woman he adores.
About the participant:
Josh Dubovie lives in Essex and has been singing since he was a little boy. After school he always went to a drama school to practice his stage abilities. The emphasis was on acting, therefore he got a part in a school production of Les Misérables. Because he also needed to sing he took singing lessons. Josh' father Richard immediately knew Josh was very talented and so he became his manager when he left school.
About the selection:
Josh Dubovie was selected among five other participants in the UK final. They all had to perform their own version of the song That sounds good to me.
