OGAE Song Contest to be Held in Croatia

The Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l'Eurovision, OGAE, which is the most famous fan club of the Eurovision Song Contest, is holding its annual contest, the OGAE Song Contest. Each country's own section of the ODAE is participating. This year's contest is being held in Croatia.

The OGAE Song Contest has been held by OGAE clubs since 1986. The contest's rules are based on the Eurovision system of 1-8, 10 and 12 points, and all the juries are members of the OGAE fan club. The songs are also chosen by each country's own OGAE fans.

As the 2008 OGAE Song Contest was won by Croatia with their representative Franka Batelić with the song Ruza u kamenu, this year's contest is to be held in Croatia with 30 countries taking part. The songs that have been announced are:

France & Spain have won the OGAE Song Contest the most, winning four times each.
