She came to Yerevan from Gyumri, North Armenia for the preselections with her mother. They had to stay in a train station as they couldn't afford to pay for a hotel. In Gyumri, they also have to stay at her uncle's house as they have nowhere else to stay.

Ambition and talent became a couple together against all the bad situations and brought a big success for Monica. She won the preselections with the song "Im Ergi Hnchuny - Sounds of My Song" We congratulate her from the EuroVisionary family for her big success and talent and wish her success in Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
