Domenique Azzopardi and her brother, Christian, have both released new songs in Malta. Domenique has recorded a Maltese version of Little Child (Mary Spiteri Malta ESC 1992). It is called Tfajjel Ckejken. Christian has released The Party Of Our Life, a song originally submitted for Eurovision.

This year's Icelandic entry Ég á Líf performed by Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson wil be sung in Icelandic in Malmö in May. This will be the first time since 1997 that an entry in Icelandic will grace the Eurovision stage. This was confirmed at a press conference in Reykjavík today.
