As reported earlier here on Eurovisionary, this year's Eurovision final proved to be a ratings smash in Denmark. But Danes weren't the only country to get into the Eurovision spirit of things, as both Norway, Sweden and The Netherlands also experienced some pretty impressive viewing figures.
This afternoon DR announced the names of the ones in charge of organising the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. As Executive Producer we find a 47 year woman with 17 years of experience in DR. DR's head of Entertainment and Head of DR event will also be deeply involved in the contest.
Denmark was the top candidate to win this year ever since the national final in January and as such high viewing figures were expected. Today they were announced showing that nearly 80% of people watching TV Saturday evening had tuned into the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
