Eurovision presenter and Dutch TV icon Hannie Lips passes away

Yet another Eurovision personality has gone on to the great Eurovision in the clouds. Presenter of the 1958 Eurovision Song Contest and former television presenter Hannie Lips passed peacefully away last week at the grand old age of 88.

Michelle nominated for the Grand Prize of the Netherlands

Since she represented the Netherlands at the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest Michelle has changed music style. Out On My Own has been replaced with a significantly more rocky attitude. With her band EinsteinBarbie she is now nominated for the prestigious Grote Prijs van Nederland.

Gisela will star in the musical comedy Esta Noche No Estoy Para Nadie

In the coming days the musical version of the play written by Juan Carlos Rubio, Esta Noche No Estoy Para Nadie that could be translated as Tonight, I'm Not In The Mood, will see its premiere. Gisela, the 2008 Andorran Eurovision representative, performs the role of one of the protagonists.

Bamse's widow continues court case over book royalties

Despite losing once in court the widow to Flemming Bamse Jørgensen does not give up. She has decided to appeal the decision about that she shouldn't be getting any royalty money for a book about her husband, which was released shortly after his unexpected and way too early death.

Dino Merlin on tour through some European countries
