Eurovision Fundraiser for Cavan

The night of the Eurovision Song Contest will see a fundraising event in Burnley for a special little boy.

Nine month old Cavan Kirkham-MacCallum has a condition which has left him unable to use his arms and means he will never be able to walk. The Guys as Dolls Showbar in Burnley town centre will host the evening of activities as well as showing the contest on a big screen. It is hope the event will raise hundreds of pounds to help the treatment of his rare condition.

A 35-year-old man from Sweden was yesterday on charge for having killed his five years younger girlfriend. They apparently ended up in an argument after she blamed him that she had missed this year’s first Swedish semi-final.
