Talent show

In Masterchef Danmark one Eurovision Song Contest participant and three national finalists all made it through the first week proving that they are to be trusted in a kitchen. So far six has been eliminated from the TV programme where famous people are competing on cooking skills. 

This year a total of four former Dansk Melodi Grand Prix participants have been trying their luck in the talent show Voice - Danmark's Største Stemme. Only one of them, Bjarne Langhoff, made it all the way to the final, which was held Saturday evening. 

In the Netherlands they are approaching the final of the country's second edition of The Voice Of Holland. 2004 national finalist, Charly Luske, is tipped as top favourite to win it all. The final will be held on the 20th of January. 

In the first battle round of Voice - Danmark's Største Stemme, Ida Lohmann, Danish 2000 finalist, made it through to the live shows by beating her opponent in a very equal duet. Their judge and coach, Aqua's Lene Nystrøm, had a hard time deciding between them. 

A week ago the Danish TV viewers saw Ida Lohmann, Danish finalist from 2000, make it through to next phase of The Voice in Denmark. Saturday evening another former Melodi Grand Prix participant tried his luck in the same talent show, but lost as the judges were expecting more from the 2008 finalist, Claus Hassing.  

Danish finalist from 11 years ago, Ida Lohmann, was in Saturday's first episode of Voice - Danmark's Største Stemme. This is the Danish version of the famous Dutch programme, which is currently running in several countries. Saturday Ida was picked by Lene Nystrøm from Aqua. 

Former Turkish representative Hadise, who gave Turkey a fourth place at the Eurovision Song Contest, behaved scandalously as a member of the jury panel in the latest episode of The Voice of Turkey when she failed to recognise theTurkish representative from 2001, Sedat Yüce.

21 years after her participation at the Danish final Ulla Bjerre is back singing to the TV viewers however she has taken a somewhat unusual direction as she is to be found as one of the many hopeful talents at the coming season of X-factor. Ulla went to the audition Tuesday and last night she stood forward telling about this step.
