FYR Macedonia confirmed their participation at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Austria. After failing to qualify for the final in Copenhagen a poll was started where people could vote whether they wanted the country to stay in or leave the contest. Now the result is known: FYR Macedonia will try again.
Earlier today, the Cypriot Broadcasting Corporation, CyBC, announced the country's return to Eurovision and disclosed details about a three-phase national selection. It appears that, after a year's absence from the contest, Cyprus' comeback entry for 2015 will be decided through an ambitious selection format!
Reports of Cyprus planning to participate in Eurovision 2015 surfaced back in May but were soon retracted. The Cypriot state broadcaster is now said to be considering the best format for a national selection that would see the country return to the contest after a year's absence.

After a lengthy selection process, the song, Attention, was picked last week to represent Lithuania at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. This evening it was finally time to decide just which of the three finalist acts, Mia, Vaidas or Vilija, would get the ticket to Copenhagen.

At the end one act should have been eliminated. Due to technical problems on the verification of the televoting the announcement of the results was postponed to Monday.
The quest to find the next representant for Sweden at the Eurovision Song contest in Copenhagen continued tonight with the second heat of Melodifestivalen in the city of Linköping. This time the qualifying acts to the final were Sanna Nielsen and Panetoz.
Today the Slovenian broadcaster RTVSLO announced that seven acts will compete in their national selection EMA to represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen. Among the names there is also Omar Naber who participated at the 2005 edition in Kiev.
TVE has today released the audio files of the five candidate songs to represent Spain in Copenhagen. Every day this week, one of the candidates will participate in a digital meeting hosted by the broadcaster on its official Eurovision website where the artists will answer questions from fans.
