National selection

Tonight Bulgaria chose their song for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. The Bulgarian broadcaster BNT nominated the duo Elitsa & Stoyan internally. They already represented Bulgaria in 2007 and reached the country's best ranking. They will try to repeat their success in Malmö, this time with their song Kismet.

Tonight the third semi-final of the 2013 KDAM was held. Three more acts qualified for the final which will be held on March 7th. Just like in the two previous semi-finals the fourth ranked will have another chance to reach the final in the second chance round on March 3rd.

Yesterday the Hungarian jury and televoters selected the first four finalists of A Dal. Tonight the remaining nine acts were competing for yet another four spots in the final, which will be held on the 2nd of March.

Tonight Hungary kicked off for its first of two semi-finals. Nine acts went on stage fighting for four places in the final. The lucky ones are still in with a chance to represent the country at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Tomorrow the second semi-final takes place.

In tonights fourth heat of Melodifestivalen two more finalists have been selected - all in the same arena that will host the Eurovision song contest in May. In the end two favourites stood as tonights biggest winners.

The fourth, and last, semi-final for Melodifestivalen 2013 is literally in the heart of Eurovision Song Contest. In the very same arena, Malmö Arena, will Eurovision be held in May. We have now reached the fourth heat in Melodifestivalen 2013 where finalist number 7 and 8 will be picked. Here we find a group that were icons in the 1990s and a solo artist who was top 3 in Melodifestivalen last year and now counts as maybe the biggest favourite to represent Sweden at the Eurovision song contest.

Österreich rockt den Songcontest - Austria rocks the song contest! With this slogan the Alpine Republic chose its representative for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest tonight. Five candidates participated in the national final. Natália Kelly finally won the 50:50 split voting between jury and televoting and will represent the country in Malmö.

Tonight the German final Unser Song für Malmö was held in Hannover. 12 acts competed for the honour of representing Germany at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. At the end Cascada were the lucky ones who won the very exciting three-part voting of internet, jury and televoting.

On February 15th Austria will choose their representative for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. In Vienna five acts will compete to get the treasured ticket and become the successor of the band Trackshittaz. Who are these five acts? EuroVisionary presents them to you.

RTVE's site visitors have decided with their votes that Atrévete will be the third song for El Sueño de Morfeo to sing at the national final scheduled to be held on the 26th of February. It joins the previously selected songs whose titles are Contigo Hasta El Final and Dame Tu Voz.

After having chosen their representative through casting shows three years in a row Germany will have a conventional national final again. On Valentine’s day – February 14th – 12 acts will compete for the ticket to Malmö in the TUI arena in Hannover. Today EuroVisionary presents you the participating artists.

The second semi-final was held this evening from the Palladium Concert Hall in Riga and the line up for the final of Dziesma 2013 is now complete. Six of the songs made it through to the final to join the six acts that qualified in last night's first semi-final.

After Jedward has represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest the past two years it was today made clear that there won't be a third time for the twins in 2013. The five acts for the national final was confirmed today and already tomorrow they will be released.

Tonight Sweden picked it's first two finalists to Friends Arena in Stockholm as eight acts competed in the first heat of Melodifestivalen that took place in the town of Karlskrona.

German broadcaster NDR has finally announced the five members of the expert jury for the German final Unser Song für Malmö. Beside the former German representatives Roman Lob and Mary Roos the jury consists of Tim Bendzko, Anna Loos and Peter Urban. In the final the jury will deliver one third of the complete voting.

Today the Slovenian broadcaster RTVSLO announced that Hannah will be representing the country at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. Her song will be revealed on February 14th. Five composers have submitted possible entries for her.

In the six coming Saturdays Sweden will pick who will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. The first heat is held in the town of Karlskrona on 2nd February 20:00 CET. Among the eight performers we find one of last years big breakthrough performers, an award winning veteran and a young rising artist who already has many followers.

Israel is celebrating this year the 40th anniversary of their first participation at the Eurovision Song Contest and more than a hundred songs were submitted for their pre-selection. Among the thirty hopefuls we find the names of well-known artists and songwriters alongside many newcomers.
