The London Eurovision Party 2013 took place at the Shadow Lounge in Soho district on 21 April.  Eight acts from the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest performed along with some guest performances from Sarbel (ESC Greece 2007) and Nigar Jamal (2011 winner ESC Azerbaijan).

Mila Janevska was runner up in the 2009 FYR Macedonia Junior Eurovision national selection.  Now she is having success in opera music. She has just taken the first prize at the 6th International opera festival 'Arandjelovac' in Serbia and also at an international competition at home in Skopje.

Romina Mamo has been a finalist at the Malta Eurosong on three occasions.  Now she is busier than ever with the release of two new singles (one in English and one in Italian) and also participating in the 2013 L-Għanja Tal-Poplu festival on 20 April.

Denmark have high expectations to Emmelie de Forest in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The fever is raising in the country to unusual heights - and today their own little super star received a gold record for 900.000 streams of her entry.

Yesterday Boston, United States, suffered from a terrorist attack during their marathon. When Tim Schou, leadsinger in A Friend In London, heard about it, he immediately wrote a song about it hoping that the victims and their relatives can gain some strength from it.

Today friends and family were able to say a last goodbye to the triple Eurovision participant John Hatting who passed away only 64 years old. After his death stories about a man for whom life wasn't easy has been told and even the plan for his funeral turned out to be complicated.

Anna Bergendahl managed to turn defeat to triumph following her failure to make the final at the 2010 contest in Oslo, with her album Yours Sincerely topping the charts. Her follow up album Something To Believe In didn't fare so well but, has not gone unnoticed stateside.

In the final stages of their Bronnen tour, trio 3JS release their newest single, Zo Mooi Als Jij (As Beautiful As You) next Friday, a befitting end to their tour which finishes in Gouda on the 16th of April.

It's not just the Eurovision Song Contest that the Dutch are gearing up towards in May. In a matter of weeks, for the first time in the Netherlands' Eurovision history, they will have a king as head of state, which will be celebrated with a huge concert featuring some Eurovision names.

Since they achieved a fifth position at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, A Friend In London have had great success. Just minutes ago they however announced that both Esben Svane and Aske Bramming will be leaving the band, which Tim and Sebastian hope to be able to continue in some kind of way.

Last night Mike Tramp held a release party to celebrate that his next solo album will hit the stores in just a few days. The new album, Cobblestone Street, is described as a back to the root project, just with him and his acoustic guitar.

Julie Berthelsen was the only of the four participants in Masterchef Danmark 2013 with a connection to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, who went all the way to the final week. Here she was competing with five others over four days in order to win the trophy.
