Today we will see the last nine semi-finalists rehearse on the stage here in Malmö for the first time. First up this morning was Greece followed by Israel, Armenia and Hungary. Check up how it went in this updated rehearsal article.

The Eurovision winner Carola has been confirmed as the interval act of the Eurovision final on the 18th of May. The act is described by the Eurovision show producer Christer Björkman as a humorous number with focus on Sweden.

Malmö might be the capital of the Eurovision Song Contest these days, but not everything happens there. In Stockholm the ABBA Museum opened the 7th of May. A lot of efforts have been made in order to make the exhibition a special experience for the visitors. 

Earlier today the first four countries in the second semi-final went on stage for their first rehearsal here in Malmö. Now time had come to the next four to show us what they have planned. First in this group was Finland followed by Malta, Bulgaria and finally Iceland.

In an announcement today SVT presented next Thursdays interval act for the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song contest. The interval act, called "Swedish pop Voices", will feature the two swedish pop stars Darin & Agnes singing a medley with some of their greatest hits.

The previous two days we have seen rehearsals from all the participants in the first semi-final. Now we are starting up with the second semi-final. In this updated article we will see Latvia, San Marino, FYR Macedonia and Azerbaijan.

The grand old lady of Eurovision Lys Assia may not make it to this years Eurovision final in Malmö. The 89 year old singer has been admitted to a private hospital in Zurich with severe pneumonia.

Irish Ryan Dolan opened the rehearsals in the second half of the second day. He was followed by Cyprus, Lithuania and Serbia. We have now had a peak as to what they have in mind for next Tuesday's show - and they have had a chance to improve the last details.

Today was a big day for Danish Eurovision participant Emmelie de Forest. She was rehearsing for the first time on the stage in Malmö, from where she needs to try to live up to the expectations as the top favourite to win. Her debut album was also released today.

After a break it was time for the big favourite Emmelie de Forest from Denmark to rehearse her act on the stage here in Malmö. She will be followed by three more top candidates as Russia, Ukraine and the Netherlands comes right after. This article will be updated after each of the rehearsals. 

With Margaret Berger yet to see action in Malmö, Norwegian broadcaster NRK have just confirmed their plans to give the national selection Melodi Grand Prix a major makeover for next year, making some drastic changes.

Martina Avramoska has won the top prize at a prestigious national opera competition in FYR Macedonia.  She has won the 4th National Competition for Young Musicians festival and achieved her win with the maximum scores possible.

Austria's Natália Kelly was the first of the artists to rehearse on the Malmö stage today. She will be followed by participants from Estonia, Slovenia and Croatia in the first half of the day.
