At the 2010 Eurovision In Concert several of this year's participants gave examples of what else they have to offer. This included a medley of Eurovision classics by Sieneke and Juliana Pasha and Harel Skaat singing each their cover of a previous Eurovision Song Contest winner and Alyosha made new lyrics to Nocturne. Saturday evening the city of Zaanstad, the Netherlands hosted Eurovision In Concert that featured 17 of this years participants. We filmed their performances and in the playlist you can see some of the songs which will be participating against each other in Oslo in May.

Yesterday 17 of the participants for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest met in Zaanstad in the Netherlands for a preview concert. Before the concert the participants went to a museum where they met the press and walked a bit around on their own before it was time to get back to the hotel.

This year, Turkey will be represented by the rock group, MaNga. They will perform the song We Could Be the Same. Today, the new version of the song was released. The Turkish entry now rocks more than ever and seems to be ready for the Oslo challenge in May.

Last weekend Safura, the artist representing Azerbaijan in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, worked hard to shoot the video of her song Drip Drop. For the 17-year old it was her very first music video shooting. Nothing special except the fact she nearly drowned.

An ash cloud from an Icelandic volcano has caused inconvenience to millions of people in Europe as most planes have been grounded since Thursday afternoon. Among the many people who found themselves stuck in another country looking for alternative transportation were Chanée & N’evergreen.

After the successful edition last year the Dutch city Zaandam will host the second ‘Eurovision in Concert' on the 24th April. It is a promo event where at least eighteen participants for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest will perform their songs.

This year Belgium will be represented by Tom Dice. He will sing the ballad Me & My Guitar. He will get the support of two backing vocals, but they won't be visible on the stage in Oslo as the song doesn't allow more people to get involved besides the artist and his guitar.

On April 8 former Eurovision Song Contest winner Teddy Scholten passed away at the age of 83. Scholten suffered a brief ilness and is the fifth winner of the contest who died after Andre Claveau, Jean-Claude Pascal, Grethe Ingmann and Frida Boccara.

Former Eurovision Song Contest winner, Sertab Erener, has sung for Spanish football team, F.C. Barcelona, on a commercial video. The video was aired on several TV channels worldwide.
