Tom Dice, the young singer that brought Belgium its best result in many years (6th place) with the tender ballad Me And My Guitar back in 2010 is once again in the spotlight, this time as one half of a duo.
Fresh from performing as opening act for the mega country star Taylor Swift in Belgium, the Flemish star has teamed up with aspiring French actress and singer Elisa Tovati to release the romantic duet Il Nous Faut (You And I). The single was released in France at the end of May and is already picking up a considerable amount of airplay both in Belgium and France.
The track is sung features both English and French lyrics, accompanied by piano and fiddle, giving the listener an authentic american country sound. It is a gentle ballad that picks up pace towards mid song. The video for the single was filmed in Iceland a few weeks ago. Although the clip has not yet surfaced on YouTube, it can be viewed as an exclusive offered through the French NRJ website by clicking on the link here.
The track will feature on Elisa Tovati’s new album, Le Sydrome De Peter Pan (The Peter Pan Syndrome), scheduled for release on the 20th of June. There is presently no news of any new album material from Mr Dice, so this newest offering will have to suffice for the time being for his eager fans.
