Tim Schou writes song about Boston Marathon victims

Yesterday Boston, United States, suffered from a terrorist attack during their marathon. When Tim Schou, leadsinger in A Friend In London, heard about it, he immediately wrote a song about it hoping that the victims and their relatives can gain some strength from it.

The video with the song, which can be seen below, starts out with this message from Tim Schou: "I was about to go to sleep last night when I heard the news about the Boston Marathon. Normally I don’t do this, write songs like this as I think it comes too close, but this time I had no choice. This is a naive hope that whomever needs it, will gain some sort of strength from this song".

Two bombs exploded near the finish line at the Boston Marathon. In current writing time three people are confirmed dead and nearly 200 injured, several of them badly. The American president Barack Obama has officially called the event for a terrorist attack.

Tim Schou and the rest of A Friend In London represented Denmark at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest where they finished 5th with the song New Tomorrow.
