Martina Avramoska wins first prize at top opera competition in FYR Macedonia

Martina Avramoska has won the top prize at a prestigious national opera competition in FYR Macedonia.  She has won the 4th National Competition for Young Musicians festival and achieved her win with the maximum scores possible.

Martina Avramoska was a contestant at the 2010 FYR Macedonia Junior Eurovision national final with her song, Zapajte. Martina has since gone to achieve considerable success in the musical world of opera.  Now she has the strong capability to balance her future in music with both opera and pop singing.

Recently EuroVisionary reported that another former FYR Macedonia Junior Eurovision singer, Mila Janevska, has also had major successes in with opera singing both at home and abroad.

Since her Junior Eurovision experience Martina won the top prize at the Open Europe pop festival in Moscow.  She has also taken part in several other festivals in FYR Macedonia and finished in second place in the Lake Pearls competition.

But at the moment Martina is concentrating on her opera singing and achieving great success.  Her win at the 4th National Competition for Young Musicians was comprehensive with the Special First Prize and the maximum points possible score of 100.  She sang three songs – Gia il sole dal gange from Scarlatti, Dolente immagine di fille mia by Bellini and Mussorgsky from Gopak.

Martina is very grateful for her success and said it would not have been possible without the help of her professor – Prof. m-r. Maja Mitrovska and her piano accompaniment – m-r. Aleksandra Jankovska Momirovska.

So maybe in the future we will see Martina participate at Eurovision with a pop/opera song? We will see.
