Eurovision 2015 live: Spain’s second rehearsal

Spain will be performing straight into the grand final this Saturday. The country is represented by Edurne with the song Amanecer. Are there any changes since the country’s first rehearsal? Does it look is if they are in with a chance for a good result? We try to answer your questions reporting live from inside the hall of Wiener Stadthalle.

My impression is that the stage graphics look slightly enhanced since Spain’s first stage rehearsal: there appear to be more stars in the background and a rich impression of water on the floor for example. Edurne looks stunning this morning (but, then again, she always does). There is a different dress used today under the red cape – again, the fabric looks richer and it creates some interesting effects when sub-lit (some patches appear in gold whether others don’t) but this is not explored to a great extent. Despite the many different elements that have been thrown into the presentation, one gets the feeling that this does not look as dramatic as it perhaps could be the case. I am trying to figure out why and I think that this could be down to Edurne’s face not being expressive enough as well as down to the camera work (the direction lacks overhead or sweeping camera shots that would have livened up the presentation further). The song finishes with Edurne on a platform.
