Today we saw the last open rehearsal before the dress rehearsals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. It was the German singer Roman Lob, and he had a very good perfromance. Could he end up beating all the favorites?
Roman Lob will be representing Germany at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Standing Still. One of the big five country, Germany, hosted the contest where they finished 10th last year.
After a total of eight shows Germany's national selection Unser Star für Baku finally came to an end tonight. The televoters decided that Roman Lob will represent Germany in Baku. He will sing Standing still and try to repeat the good results Germany scored in the last two years.
After five rounds the quarter final of the German selection Unser Star für Baku took place tonight. Five artists were left to compete for a place in the semi final. The German viewers decided via televoting that Katja Petri had to leave the show.
Tonight the fifth heat of Unser Star für Baku took place. Six artists were left who competed for five places in the quarter final which will be held on Thursday, February 9th. The public finally decided that Céline Huber had to leave the show.
The German search for a representative for Baku continues. Tonight we saw the fourth of eight shows of Unser Star für Baku. Due to some criticism about the live voting ProSieben slightly changed the voting procedure. At the end the televoters decided that Sebastian Deyand Umut Anil had to leave the show.
Tonight we saw the third show of the German national selection Unser Star für Baku. After the first two shows ten candidates were left who competed for one of eight spots in the upcoming show. At the end the TV viewers decided that Rachel Scharnberg and Leonie Burgmer had to leave the show.
The second show of the German national final Unser Star für Baku was held tonight. Like last week ten participants competed to proceed to the next round. Five of them were finally chosen by the public via a live voting.
Tonight the German selection for this year's Eurovision Song Contest, Unser Star für Baku (Our star for Baku), kicked off. Ten artists competed for five places in the next show. At the end the public decided who of them would get a ticket.
The German broadcaster NDR has just revealed that the final of Unser Star für Baku will be held on February 16th, 2012. A total of 20 candidates will compete for the honour of representing Germany in Baku. The winner will be chosen by televoting.
