This week Jacob Sveistrup, Denmark's 2005 Eurovision Song Contest participant, have been trying to impress the professionel judges in Masterchef with his cooking. He however failed misrable as they concluded that his food looks better than it taste.

Last night the Danish TV viewers saw 2012 Danish finalist Suriya secure herself a place in the quarterfinal of Masterchef Denmark. Former double participant Annette Heick was close to making it as well, but due to too little sauce she was out.

In Masterchef Danmark one Eurovision Song Contest participant and three national finalists all made it through the first week proving that they are to be trusted in a kitchen. So far six has been eliminated from the TV programme where famous people are competing on cooking skills. 

Tonight TV3 Denmark kicks off with its second edition of Masterchef where a total of 34 well known names will compete in order to determine which of them is the best cook. Among them are one former Eurovision Song Contest participant and several national finalist. 

In a show that reminded more of a dress rehearsal for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 than a Dansk Melodi Grand Prix Denmark tonight picked its participant for the international contest in May. Soluna Samay won the ticket to Baku in a close race.

9 acts stands ready to deliver their very best on stage in Aalborg in just a few days. One of them will win the Danish national final, the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, and with that the right to represent Denmark at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in May.

The nine songs that will compete in the Danish national final on Saturday are now available online in 30 seconds clips - and during the day and tomorrow they will get airplay in its full length. On Wednesday the CD will hit the stores.
