EuroVisionary met up with the Latvian duo Musiqq for a talk about the national selection, their stay here in Düsseldorf and of course the upcoming second semi-final on Thursday where they will try to bring Latvia back to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Today was the final day of delegation rehearsals and press conferences. The last seven countries competing in the second semi-final all had their second rehearsal, as did the ‘Big 5’
Latvia were the fifth country to take to the stage today and many curious fans and press ahd gathered in front of the stage to see what Musiqq had to offer us today.
After Belarus' rehearsal it was time for the Latvian duo Musiqq to enter the stage. After two years of failure they hope to give Latvia a place in the final again.

Musiqq represented Latvia at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with their song Angel in Disguise. They couldn't qualify to the final as the became 17th in the Semi-final 2.
There are officially 21 Eurovision hopefuls attending Eurovision in Concert on April 9th. The most excitement came from one of the three new additions; the United Kingdom with Blue. The further 2 acts confirmed were Croatia with Daria Kinzer and Greece with Loucas Yiorkas ft. Stereo Mike.
Eurovision in Concert 2011; a preview party featuring participants of this year's Eurovision Song Contest, will be held for the third time on April 9th 2011 in the venue Club Air, situated in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. So far 15 countries have confirmed that they will be there.
Latvian state broadcaster LTV has recently revealed the 20 acts who have succeeded in making the grade in passing through the preliminary selection round. The jury responsible had quite a task in separating the wheat from the chaff, whittling down 71 entries to just 20.
