After two months of qualifying rounds at the first season of The Voice (La Voz) in Spain, the four best voices that will compete in the final has now been chosen. Jorge González, who participated at the 2009 national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, is one of them.
Mirela, Paco Arrojo, Anael, Jorge González and Mónica Guech had something in common so far as that all of them had participated in the national selection to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest. From now on, they are rivals in the Spanish edition of the talent show, The Voice.
Spain's selection process continues tonight when three singers will be selected to take part in the national final on 18 February. Ten acts have qualified over the past weeks to compete in the semi-final stage of Destino Eurovisión. We will be entertained, once more, with some ingenious versions of Eurovision hits.
Spain just finished their second heat of Destino Eurovisión in the search for who can represent Spain at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. Out of the 12 acts presented, Esmeralda Grao, Melissa, Sebas, Mónica Guech and Don Johnsons managed to convince the jury and audience enough to advance to the national semi-final.
A new batch of twelve hopefuls will battle it out to become one of the five singers to qualify for the semi-final and they will join the five selected already. There are, as in the previous heat, artists with different backgrounds and they represent many different musical genres. Get to know them!
