The Latvian national final in Ventspils has just concluded, with PeR beating off the competition to sing for their country in May with the song Here we go.

The second semi-final was held this evening from the Palladium Concert Hall in Riga and the line up for the final of Dziesma 2013 is now complete. Six of the songs made it through to the final to join the six acts that qualified in last night's first semi-final.

Latvian broadcaster LTV confirmed today the twenty-four acts that have made it to the semi final stages of the Latvian selection, Dziesma 2013. Submissions could be entered up until the end of November. Today's announcement sees some familiar names back for another try.
