Eurovision fans were confused after TRT had stated that they may consider withdrawal in 2013. Then, everyone calmed down when TRT started to put lots of effort trying to decide which artist should represent Turkey in Malmö. However, today it's been officially announced that, Turkey will not take part in the 2013 edition of Eurovision Song Contest.
Turkish Eurovision fans were readily discussing who is going to represent Turkey in Malmö. Polls are already created in social media to find out which singer has more potential to win. Meanwhile, the Director General at TRT had a shocking message for the media: "We may consider withdrawal from the contest in 2013."
EuroVisionary presents Can Bonomo performing his 2012 Eurovision Song Contest entry Love Me Back. This performance - recorded in 3D - is from the dress rehearsal for the final.
Can Bonomo has proven that he deserves a place in the final. Several changes have been made in an attempt to improve the catastrophic result from Düsseldorf 2011. The most important change is that the colours of the outfit will be white and grey, with capes featuring as an important element for the performance.
In 2011 Turkey failed to reach the final of the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time. This year it is up to Can Bonomo to make sure it doesn't happen again. Can he do so with this entry Love Me Back?
As part of Kurt Calleja's promotional tour he has visited Turkey and met up with their representative, Can Bonomo. He had a full schedule of events planned and appeared on TRT Music Channel.
Can Bonomo will be representing Turkey at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Love Me Back. Can Bonomo will feel the pressure of qualifying as this country couldn't make it to the finals last year.
