The French broadcaster has abandoned the idea of choosing the Eurovision representative internally and they have decided that the audience must be involved in all phases of the selection process. A Eurovision fan will be among the experts that will make the selection in the first stage and a national final will be held where the audience has the final say.
Both singers hail from different corners of the globe but have stood on the Eurovision stage representing France. Canadian warbler Natasha St. Pier and Indonesian beauty Anggun are poles apart in terms of musical genres but found common ground on the concept album Thérèse, Vivre d'Amour.
Natasha St. Pier has, like her counterparts Céline Dion and Lara Fabian a place in the elite club of chanteuses representing another country at the Eurovision Song Contest. Her entry Je N'ai Que Mon Âme opened many doors for her to the French speaking market and Francophile fans can rejoice, as she returns with a brand new album Bonne Nouvelle.
