Iceland Chooses the Final Three Songs for Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins

The third and last heat before the grand final on 11 February of Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins took place this evening. The last three acts have been chosen and with Magni Ásgeirsson, Greta Salóme, Heiða & Guðrún Árný and Rósa Birgitta Ísfeld, the line-up for the national final is now complete.

The participants for the third Icelandic heat 2012

This Saturday will see the last of the three regulary heats in this year's Söngvakeppnin Sjónvarpsins, with the final on the 11th of February drawing closer. It's time for us to become better acquainted with the last bunch of hopefuls fighting for the last two tickets to the final.

The remaining 5 songs yet to be heard in this year's Icelandic national selection have today been published by the broadcaster. On Saturday they will compete for the last two spots available in their final that will be held on the 11th of February.
