Both singers hail from different corners of the globe but have stood on the Eurovision stage representing France. Canadian warbler Natasha St. Pier and Indonesian beauty Anggun are poles apart in terms of musical genres but found common ground on the concept album Thérèse, Vivre d'Amour.
The French entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku has now become available as a CD single with 4 tracks. That is on a market where CD singles is becoming rare and difficult to find and as such Echo (You & I) is an exception.
Anggun, the french representative for this year's Eurovision Song Contest, has just recorded a new version of her entry. The song is now titled Echo (Losing You & I) is a duet with Niels Brinck, who represented Denmark in 2009.
After an interview with the Anggun, the French participant for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, she kindly provided us with two signed editions of her latest album. We offered those to our readers in a competition and the two lucky winners have now been selected.
Anggun's much waited song, Echo, which will represent France at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku was presented during the official reception of the Midem this Sunday - at the same time the song was made available to listen to online.
