This year's edition of the Eurovision Song Contest provided national broadcaster NRK with one of it's largest audience viewing figures ever and turned out to be a viewing magnet.

Countries like Israel, Ireland and Norway were by fans and press mentioned as potential winners after successful rehearsals in Oslo. But on the actual night of the final they all failed to live up to the expectations and instead ended at the bottom of the scoreboard. What went wrong for them?

This time next week, we will know whose hard work has paid off and where we will gather next year. Meanwhile, the preparations continued for some of the participants in the second semi-final starting with Ireland. The Big 4 and Norway also had their final solo rehearsals.

The Norwegians are having a great time hosting this contest. Everything is running smoothly and there's a great buzz around Oslo. There's another thing the Norwegians are doing very well and that's the preparation for their entry.

One week down, one to go. We are now halfway through the cycle of rehearsals and press conferences. As well as some of the participants in the second semi-final performing, it was also the first chance for the five countries who are automatically qualified for the final to rehearse and meet the press.

Norway got their chance to rehearse for the final. The arena was full of Norwegian visitors and they weren't the only ones wowed by a solid performance from Didrik.

The start of the third day with rehearsals was also the start of the second semifinalists. Yesterday everything that can wrong did go wrong for Chanée & N'evergreen who somehow has managed to convince the press that they are a couple, but one of those couples that just can't stand each other!

The Norwegian participant Didrik Solli-Tangen watched the first Danish rehearsal and afterwards he came to meet the Danish press and fans who had seen it as well. Denmark is his favourite to win this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
