Who could have resisted the charms of young Axel Ehnström, otherwise known as Paradise Oskar as he strummed his simple plea to save the planet for Finland in Düsseldorf? Well, the talented young musician strikes will the iron is hot and wastes no time in releasing his debut album Sunday Songs.
Paradise Oskar gave his 2nd rehearsal of Da Da Dam with some feedback problems. The song has a nice simple melody but the vocals seemed to echo in the arena.
With numbers in rock, retro, pure pop and ethnic styles, Finland's Paradise Oskar and Da Da Dam was a nice way of rounding off rehearsals on day 1. The entry has been praised by some for its simpleness and honesty, whereas others have been quick to brand it naive and boring. How would the young performer come across on the huge Eurovision stage?
There are officially 21 Eurovision hopefuls attending Eurovision in Concert on April 9th. The most excitement came from one of the three new additions; the United Kingdom with Blue. The further 2 acts confirmed were Croatia with Daria Kinzer and Greece with Loucas Yiorkas ft. Stereo Mike.
Oscar Paradise will be representing Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest this year with his song Da da dam. Oscar will have extra pressure as this country didn't make it to the final last year.
