Day six of the biggest musical show on earth saw twelve countries rehearse again, from Albania - participating in the first semi-final, to Sweden - who has been drawn in the second semi-final.
Today, the first eight songs competing in the second semi-final had the chance to try their songs and stage shows on the set for the first time. The press also had the chance to meet them in the obligatory press conference.
Anna Bergendahl will be representing Sweden at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest
with this song called It's My Life. Last year Sweden
qualified for the final where they finished 21st.
They might be friendly neighbours towards each other in the Nordic countries, but they sure love to beat the others showing that they are the best in "Norden". Which one of them will do best at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest?
Now the Melodifestivalen journey is coming to an end. Tomorrow 10 acts will battle for the spot as the Swedish representative in Oslo. EuroVisionary attended the dress rehearsal on Friday night to try to find out what’s new with the acts and take the pulse on the artists.
We now know the result of the four semi finals, and boy was I wrong in my predictions. I made the huge mistake of thinking that the viewer’s would vote exactly like they did last year. Then they voted all the big stars through to the final. But this year something has happened. The big question is what?!
The fourth heat in Sweden just ended. After the performance of the remaining 8 songs in the selection the last two direct qualified positions for the final in Globen were filled. As two more acts went to the second chance round the line-up for the next heat is known.
