Eldar Gasimov, half of the winning duo -Eldar & Nigar- from Azerbaijan, is extending his talents to acting. Eldar has been cast in the sequel to Don't Worry, I am with You (Ne boysya, ya s toboy) a popular Azerbaijani film from 1981.
Sara Markoska, who represented FYR Macedonia at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, recently represented her country at the 2011 Baltic Song Contest in Karlshamn, Sweden. She performed 2 songs in the contest.
Second album from the energetic Irish twins, Jedward, has hit the stores in Ireland today. They will be signing the album in stores around the country up until the 15th of August where the album will be released in the United Kingdom.
During the filming of an appearance on prime time Swedish TV, Mr. Eurovision himself Johnny Logan spoke openly to the press about his views on the state of the Eurovision Song Contest today. This evening Take That cancelled a concert in Copenhagen, due to a stomach flu that hit Robbie Williams. As A Friend In London heard about that, they decided to take things in their own hand, get their gear placed in front of the arena and play a free improvised concert for the disapointed Take That fans.
It has been almost two months since we have seen this year's Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Düsseldorf. For me it was a very special Eurovision. It was not only the first time that I had the opportunity to go to a Eurovision Song Contest. No, I was even able to attend it as a journalist.
